CHARNWOOD SILEBY LADIES HOCKEY CLUB

Welcome to the 2009/10 Hockey Season   

This season the club will be running three league teams together with a junior section and a Vixens team.

Training and all home matches will be at Soar Valley Leisure Centre Mountsorrel.

Senior Training will be on alternate Mondays (7.30-9.00pm) and Tuesdays (7.00-8.30pm) – schedule available on website. Junior Training will be Tuesdays 6-7pm.  We strongly suggest shin-guards and gum shields are taken to training. Training and coaching fees are covered in your annual membership. Insurance is also covered in your annual membership. Details of insurance cover can be obtained from the Treasurer. Please note you will not be covered by the club’s insurance or eligible to play in matches if you have not paid your membership fee by the given dates.

Member Registration Form and the League Fixture Lists for the 1^st, 2^nd  and 3^rd teams are attached. Please complete your member registration form and send it with the appropriate fees to the General Secretary as soon as possible.

Training tops and other optional club kit may be available throughout the season.

The Junior Section is for girls aged 10-14. Friendly matches and tournaments are organised for the juniors throughout the season. A mixed senior/junior team is also entered in the Leicester & Rutland Vixens league. Nominal match fees will be payable for these games. If you are interested in helping in any way with the junior section please talk to a committee member.

If you are interested in Umpire and/or Coaching training there will be opportunities during the season to attend courses – watch out for details.
