  Charnwood Sileby maintained their 100% record in 2008 with a well deserved 6-0 win over Hinckley.

  Charnwood Sileby got the perfect start when Aly Goodger scored after just 7 minutes. The lead was doubled on 22 minutes when Aly calmly lifted the ball past the keeper and into the top right hand corner of the goal. On 32 minutes Charnwoood were awarded a penalty corner which led to a fantastic third goal. Vicky Moore pushed the ball to Ali who slipped the ball right to Kaz Setchell. Kaz gave the ball back to Ali who had made a run into the area and lifted the ball into the top left hand corner.

  The second half. Awarded an early penalty corner, Aly Goodger received the ball top D and struck the ball into the corner of the goal. Player of the match Vicky Moore scored the team’s fifth goal from another penalty corner. Ali and Kaz were again involved in a move that Vicky finished off. As full time approached Charnwood scored a sixth goal when Mel Swidenbank was on hand to slot the ball past the keeper from Ali’s pass.
