As schools hockey, and boys hockey in particular, starts to grow, it is hoped that the LRHA will be able to start a local mens league. At the moment the current LRHA Mens Section are made up of clubs within the Leicestershire & Rutland geographic area who were formally in the Leicestershire County Hockey Association and who are served by a league structure that serves 8 leagues:

      1^st and 2^nd XI

• Midland Prem
• Midland Div 1
• East and West Prem
• East and West Div 1
• East and West Div 2

      3^rd XI league

• Prem

• 6 East and West divisions

  Central League of 11 Divisions, inc Prem, East and West and 12 geographical mixed leagues, North West, North East etc. There are currently 12 clubs in Leicestershire that supported some 38 teams.
