PLAYER TRANSFER PROCESS for SEASON 2021-22

 

All Mixed Section Player Transfers at any time must follow this method.

1.      The Player and / or the Engaging Club must initiate the transfer process by submitting a ‘Request to Transfer Form’ RTF to Veryan by email.

2.      The player must advise the ‘Releasing Club’ of their intention to transfer.

3.      The player must ensure the ‘engaging’ club will accept the transfer.

4.      Veryan will check the Player Registration Lists for registration legitimacy.

5.      Veryan will then contact the releasing Club / Team Secretary to check that the player can be released – i.e. no outstanding debt of fees or kit.

6.      If there are no outstanding debts the transfer will be approved.

7.      Where there are outstanding debts the transfer will not be approved until the releasing club has confirmed that they have been resolved.

8.      The player cannot play for the engaging club until the transfer has been approved.

9.      A copy of the RTF must be filed in the Club Player Registration File (MRL& RTF).

10.  As with other forms the ‘Club Player Registration File’ must be available at all times for inspection by the Insurance Underwriters & LMHA EC.

11. As Veryan approves transfers they will be collated & invoiced at £5 per player ‘en mass’, cheque made payable to the LMHA (Leicester Mixed Hockey Association).

 Please allow 7 days for a transfer to be completed.  Although most are resolved in a few days, clubs do need time to check their records etc. A request submitted on a Friday is unlikely to be approved to allow a player to play the following day.

 

The time a transfer takes can be substantially reduced if the player returns shirts and settles outstanding fees with their releasing club prior to requesting the transfer!
