Market Harborough 8 Forest Wanderers A 2
Chapman was here, there and everywhere again
MHMHC are fixing the hole and are back on the winning streak after
another win taking it to 19 goals in two games.
It’s been a helter skelter ride for Market Harborough lately but they’re
back on the long and winding road to the top. They took an early lead
and quickly went two goals up, one from Tim Chapman and one from Jack
Wells but after a short wait, Wanderers came back with a goal. Chapman
scored yet another goal making a quick equaliser look a long way away.
A day in the life of MHMHC is never smooth though as Wanderers were
getting better and looked set to fight back when they scored another
goal, but with a final push before half time, Chapman put another goal
in the back of the net and made it 4-1.
At the start of the second half, Wanderers seemed to get back into the
game but with some excellent defending, Harborough pushed the ball back
up the pitch. Ellie Hand and Bobby Read both scored another goal apiece
It was the end for Wanderers when yet again Harborough scored two goals,
again by Tim and Jack. This took Tim’s goal total for this game to 4.
Could this be his ticket to ride straight onto top scorer?
Can Harborough carry that weight of winning onto next week when they
come together again to play Loughborough away at 1.45pm.
