Match Report
League – Saturday 23rd September 2006
Market Harborough 6 Rutland Horseshoes 1
A simply the best performance from Harborough showed that the A’s are
ready to go for the new season with the help of their ‘Wonderwall’
goalkeeper Baz Liddle. A hot stuff move from Tim Chapman set off a chain
reaction which led to Tragedy for the visitors as they returned home via
their country roads in disappointment. Jack Wells showed his true
colours by netting the second and despite Rutland pulling one back, it
was clear their band on the run.
Chapman got the love of the common people by scoring the 3rd and 4th and
leaving the goalkeeper do wah diddy. At this point the team was looking
at mr blue sky in celebration whilst the Hand sisters where doing the
Lido shuffle while singing it’s a lovely day. Harborough’s very own Sex
Bomb 14 year old Neil James completed the flashdance by scoring the 5th
and 6th.
Next week the A’s continue their rocking all over the world tour having
more
than a feeling of moving on up against the Rangers.
