Match Report
League - Saturday 24th March 2007
Market Harborough A 3 Loughborough Carillon A 3
Market Harborough gained a draw to a team close to them in the league on
Saturday. However they will be disappointed with the result as they were
3-1 up with just over a minute to play. The first half was a scrappy
affair with neither team being able to make the breakthrough. It took
till the early stages of the second half before Bobby Read got town in
front. This lead was short lived when Loughborough were awarded a
penalty flick, which they put away.
Paul Moorhouse managed to get another trademark short
corner to make it 2-1. Then Tim Chapman netted his 46 of the campaign to
make it 3-1. Two late goals from Loughborough in the dying minutes meant
Harborough would only leave Welland Park with a point.
