Match Report
League - Saturday September 30th 2006
Coalville Rangers 4 Market Harborough 5
Captain Rob Smith showed why he was crowned leader of the pack as he led
his team to a 5-4 victory over Rangers. The team could do nothing but
smile as Smith scored with 21 seconds left of the game which could only
be described as a rollercoaster ride. Harborough took an early lead from
their hero Paul Moorehouse and with high spirits they scored again
through Tim Chapman.
Rangers stole a goal back just before the end of first half play. There
were no changes at half time but Harborough soon found themselves in
trouble as Rangers caught up and equalised. It was déjà vu as Rangers
quickly scored again. Little Ellie Hand was injured twice during the
game but proved a fighter and she carried on. Harborough felt stronger
and scored again to bring it all back to 3-3. A lucky goal put Rangers
back in front. Morale was low but Moorehouse showed why their ain’t no
other man like him as he scored his third goal to achieve his hat-trick.
Lauren Hand danced around the pitch in her blue suede shoes and with a
beautiful pass set up the winning goal.
Against all odds Harborough had fought back and Rangers were powerless,
nothing can stop Harborough as they reach for the stars.
