Introduction :
What Is In Mixed Hockey For Me? |
|
![]() |
The "mixed" has one of the largest County squads, containing A, B, Under 21 and Veterans teams and probably have the most successful County record over more than 50 years. County matches are played about once a month on a Sunday, so players' opportunities for playing hockey are enormous. |

If you are interested in playing or umpiring mixed
hockey, then please use the
Information
page to find out much more about us. Details of secretaries, clubs, pitch locations etc. are all there. If you've put a team together and you want to try some friendly games, then phone Mick, the fixtures secretary on 0116-2743587 and he will arrange matches straight away (especially if you already have a pitch and a slot!). He will also fit you up with competition of the appropriate skill to suit your new team. "Is it worth it, what's at the end of it?" you may ask. Well as well as having loads of fun and developing good team work and team spirit, have a look at a few pictures from the Presentation Dance held in May 2000 to get an idea of the cups, shields, trophies and medals which can also come to a successful squad. Good luck. |
