To All Players, Officials and Supporters

Mixed Hockey in Leicestershire & Rutland has been played in the shires for the past 60 years.

The Association felt it would be right to hold a celebration to acknowledge past and present who give to and enjoy playing mixed hockey.

We have arranged two events for Saturday 1^st May 2010.

Event 1 – Fun tournament to be held at St Margaret’s. This event will be free to enter.

 (Past and present are invited with more details to follow).

Event 2.

A summer ball has been organised to take place at the Marriott Hotel in Leicester. Cost of tickets is £30.00 which includes a four course dinner with a live band and disco. A special rate of £75.00 per room has been agreed with the hotel for those who wish to stay at overnight.

I am fully aware of the present economical climate, hence we have tried to keep the ticket price as low as possible. Unfortunately I do need to start confirming numbers in order to secure the event.

Can I ask you therefore to forward this e mail and information to each of your players and to confirm numbers with me who wish to attend by no later than 11th February 2010. Those clubs who wish not to be involved please could you also contact me as soon as. This will save me chasing you later.

It is at players and officials request that the ball has been organised however, if there are not enough people who wish to attend I will have no choice but to cancel.
